If you think you may need a visit please telephone the surgery before 11.30am.

If you telephone after this time the visit will be carried out by the “duty” doctor and there may well be a delay.

Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to enable the doctor to prioritise his/her visits.

NOTE: These are usually restricted to patients who are housebound or terminally ill. Please help to save the doctor’s time by trying to come into the surgery if at all possible. If you feel you are seriously ill, requiring a visit you can speak to a doctor on the phone who can decide the best options. If the doctor is not available when you call, please leave a number so they may call you back.
